Having had successful selling and marketing careers we continually saw companies invest in sales training with a hope to change the behaviours of the team.  In reality that process enables some skills transfer and education on alternative methods, but, rarely gets lasting change in a sales or marketing organisation. 

A need existed to work closer with sales and marketing teams to get real change and real results.

Katalyst Consulting set out to help the execution team deliver real results.  What we found was that most organisations have weak or non existent Sales and Marketing Management processes or guidance to provide direction to the teams.

Typically the management team is too close to the coal face.  That is they are working in the business and often cannot see that they need to work on the business.

We also saw that a lot of companies are happy or at least content with performance mediocrity.

Our approach is to work collaboratively with the existing team to provide a team assessment and then determine the skills gap required to improve performance.  We then work together to make the changes required to improve the processes and then deliver results.

Our independence from the business is a vital element of our work.  We look at everything as a Prospect would, not a sales or marketing person
